Joseph Hernon, a military veteran, and firefighter with 10 years of emergency management experience will lead ������’s emergency management operations after a nationwide search to fill the vacant role of associate vice president for campus safety, emergency management, and environmental health and safety. 

A total of 17,540 students, from 50 states and 146 countries, applied for admission to the ������ Class of 2025, and 913 enrolled in the class, which has an average GPA of 3.77 out of 4.0, up from 3.69 in 2020.

Members of the ������ classes of 2022–25 will now benefit from an additional expansion of the University’s no-loan initiative under the ������ Commitment.

Ahmet Çeli̇k, PhD candidate and instructor in religion and Middle Eastern studies at Syracuse University, has been appointed as the first campus imam and Muslim student adviser at ������.
