ºÚÁÏÍø will host a new speaker series for the spring semester titled The University and the Public Good: The Role of the American College in Our Time, sponsored by the Office of the President.

ºÚÁÏÍø will host Francesca Zambello ’78 as the inaugural Clifford Innovator in Residence in February 2025. Zambello is the artistic director of the Washington National Opera.

A new agreement between the Chenango Nursery School (CNS), the Hamilton Central School District (HCS), with help from ºÚÁÏÍø, will provide for 32 additional childcare slots at the nursery school this fall.

ºÚÁÏÍø recognized 730 students for earning an A.B. degree, plus 6 master of arts in teaching and one master of arts, during Commencement Weekend 2024, May 17–19. Financier-turned-human-rights-activist and author Bill Browder gave the commencement address.

ºÚÁÏÍø’s Center for Arts, Creativity, and Innovation, which is nearing completion and expected to open in the fall, will be named Bernstein Hall in honor of the lead donor’s genealogical roots.

Katherinne Bertrand Ortiz ’23, a psychological science major from Fairfax, Va., is the recipient of ºÚÁÏÍø’s 1819 Award, the University’s highest student honor.
