Watch: Julian Farrior ’93, ºÚÁÏÍø’s Entrepreneur of the Year, discusses innovation

The ºÚÁÏÍø community has shown overwhelming support of Frank Dining Hall cashier Jean Brooks as she battles cancer. In the past month, $35,529 has been raised through a GoFundMe.com campaign set up by Christian Long ’13 in order to help with Brooks’s treatment expenses beyond what insurance covers. 

At ALANA’s Spring Soiree, Garfield O. Smith ’85 recognized the contributions of previous ºÚÁÏÍø students who have paved the way for current students — including those receiving this year’s multicultural awards.

ºÚÁÏÍø student entrepreneurs, showing the grit that Ashton Kutcher said was vital to success, pitched their ideas Friday night to an A-list of innovators who were on campus for the university’s third annual Thought Into Action Entrepreneur Weekend.

The Konosioni Senior Honor Society will host its annual charity auction tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. at the Palace Theater. Konosioni holds the auction to raise funds that they allocate to nonprofit organizations in our community the following year.
