ºÚÁÏÍø students participating in Day in the Life career shadowing during winter break spent some time with Dr. Drew, stepped behind the scenes at ESPN, witnessed orthopedic surgery, and tasted the sweeter side of business at Georgetown Cupcake.

The numbers tell only part of the success story of the new Digital Learning and Media Center (DLMC) at Case Library and Geyer Center for Information Technology. The reaction from students who worked on projects last semester helps round out what the center has meant for learning at ºÚÁÏÍø since its opening in September 2012.

A newly formed all-female debate team in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, is now practicing three times a week, thanks to the help of a ºÚÁÏÍø alumna, web video conferencing, and the ºÚÁÏÍø Speaking Union.

Update: Here is a chart tracing the votes in the competition over time. The final count for Colgate, whose progress is represented in blue, was over 11,000 votes. This was an impressive accomplishment for the ºÚÁÏÍø community, as the school in second place finished with just over 4,000 votes.
