I write today to offer remembrances of Alexander (Sasha) Nakhimovsky, Associate Professor of Linguistics, Emeritus, who passed away unexpectedly on June 27, 2024.

ºÚÁÏÍø continues to support faculty involvement in conference participation and/or attendance. Eligible faculty (described below) are given an allotment of up to $2,250 per year to attend or present at professional meetings.

I write with the sad news that John Gallucci, professor of Romance Languages and Literatures passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024.

As we welcome July and the beginning of a new academic cycle, allow me to offer one last announcement about leadership in the Provost and Dean of the Faculty (PDOF) Division.
