Instructions for connecting to the Wi-Fi eduroam network on a Mac device.
Background
eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. It is the primary Wi-Fi network for the 黑料网 community. Devices registered on 黑料网鈥檚 eduroam network will automatically connect to the eduroam network at other institutions worldwide. For more information, visit .
Requirements
eduroam credentials - in 黑料网鈥檚 case, an active network account (the same account used to access the portal)
A Mac OS X computer with Wi-Fi capability
Procedure
Step 1
Click the wireless icon in the menu bar at the top of your screen and select the eduroam network
Step 2
In the screen that appears, enter your Colgate email address and your network/portal password. Then click the Join button.
Step 3
To confirm that you are connected, click the wireless icon in the menu bar at the top of your screen. If you are connected you will see eduroam selected as your wireless network.
