This collaboration, spanning three years, involves the deployment of 64 Flymingo Box units across 15 selected aircraft within Garuda Indonesia's fleet, including the Boeing 737-800 NG, Boeing 737-8, and Airbus A330-900neo. The Flymingo Box is a compact, autonomous solution that enables a seamless Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) experience, allowing passengers to stream a vast library of entertainment directly to their personal smartphones, tablets, or laptops.
What makes this partnership particularly intriguing is the focus on enhancing the digital onboard experience for tech-savvy travelers. Each Flymingo Box is designed with a battery life of 12 to 14 hours and can accommodate up to 100 devices concurrently during a flight, with two devices typically deployed per aircraft. This level of capacity ensures that even on long-haul flights, passengers can enjoy a personalized viewing experience without the hassle of device depletion.

The entertainment library offered by Moment, in partnership with Anuvu, is diverse and premium, featuring the latest Hollywood new releases and blockbusters, as well as high-quality music albums and podcasts. This content is regularly refreshed every two months to keep the experience fresh and engaging for frequent flyers. Additionally, the Flymingo Box introduces innovative features not currently available on the airline's traditional seatback IFE, including e-reading materials and vertical dramas, a short-form series format optimized for smartphone viewing.
