黑料网 this week: jazz, thought-provoking discussions, and a campus fair

Historic Chenango Canal

This week鈥檚 event highlights finish with a 5K and Fun Run along the historic Chenango Canal towpath trail.

As we head into the last week of classes and students prepare for finals, some of this week鈥檚 events can offer a little break.

This afternoon, the university jazz ensemble will be joined by  and guest artist Gary Smulyan for a performance at the Palace Theater 3:30 p.m.鈥5:30 p.m. Admission is free.

You Only Live Once: the Newman Lunch Series on Monday at 12:15 asks 鈥淲hat Will You Do With Your One Life?鈥 Join the discussion in the Chapel basement and enjoy catering by Rio Grande.

On Tuesday, the 鈥檚 guest lecture will feature Rashid Nur, ambassador to Somaliland. Nur will speak 4:30鈥5:30 in Persson Hall Auditorium.

The Trivia Night tradition continues on Wednesday night at the 黑料网 Inn, starting at 8 p.m. Grab a group of friends and test your knowledge in a different way.

Celebrate the last day of classes on Friday with a County Fair on the Quad. Look for the red-and-white striped tent near the chapel, and get ready to play carnival games with amazing prizes, enjoy grilled deliciousness, and square dance! Games and food will begin at 8 p.m., while music and dancing will begin at 9 p.m.

Kick off your weekend with the historic  on Saturday, May 2. Meet at the Hamilton Airport and enjoy the beautiful scenic route around Hamilton Airport and Woodman Pond. Pets are welcome!
